Panorama of mountains around Ama Dablam (Photo NEe06). Ama Dablam (6812m) is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. A classic 'Matterhorn' shaped mountain, it dominates a large part of the Everest trek route. Here it overlooks and dominates the Imja Khola valley above the village of Dingboche.

Chola Glacier with Cholatse (6440m) and Arakamtse (6423m) left and right respectively (photo NEe08). The glacier is completely covered in debris giving it the appearance of a scree-covered hillside.
